Both of our venues have undergone extensive renovations, creating refreshed, contemporary spaces while retaining the character and natural setting that make De Uijlenes special.
So while we’re still a family-run venue on a farm, we’re definitely more than a rustic venue.

We’ve kept our 2026 year-end packages simple, with three different menus depending on the kind of celebration you have in mind.
The Festive Feast – R410 per person
A lively three-course menu made for celebrating.
Start with a trio of a bobotie spring roll, vegetable pocket and chicken samosa, followed by pan-fried chicken supreme with fondant potato, seasonal baby vegetables and honey mustard red wine jus.
Finish with strawberry pavlova and Chantilly cream.
The Classic Celebration – R430 per person
For businesses looking for something a little more refined, The Classic Celebration is our traditional sit-down option.
The menu starts with a brisket pocket and side salad, followed by slow-braised pork belly served with creamy mashed potato, sautéed caramelised onion, fine beans and pork wine jus.
Dessert is a classic lemon meringue.
The Fire & Feast Braai – R470 per person
If your team would rather finish the year around the fire, this one is for you.
Our Fire & Feast Braai includes Greek salad, curry noodle salad and coleslaw, freshly prepared garlic bread and cheese and mixed herb bread, followed by boerewors, minute steak, pork chops and chicken drumsticks.
And because no South African celebration is complete without dessert, we’ll finish with milk tart and peppermint tart
What’s Included?
One of the best things about hosting your year-end function at De Uijlenes is that you don’t need to coordinate a venue, caterer, furniture company and half a dozen other suppliers.
Your package includes your chosen menu, venue hire, bar service and a welcome drink on arrival. A minimum of 20 guests applies.
Standard furniture, crockery, cutlery and our event staff are also included. If you’d like to add décor, entertainment or AV requirements, these can be arranged separately.
In other words:
You organise the team. We’ll take care of the celebration.

Depending on the size and style of your function, we’ll help you choose the De Uijlenes space that works best for your group.
Both venues offer indoor and outdoor areas, allowing your team to enjoy the Overberg setting rather than spending the entire function sitting around a restaurant table.
Start with welcome drinks outside. Move indoors for lunch or dinner. Add speeches, music or entertainment. Or keep things wonderfully simple with great food, a few drinks and time together away from work.
That’s the advantage of having an entire venue rather than simply reserving a table.
