Farmhouse

The Farmhouse is an old thatched roof cottage on the farm.  Built by Oom Jacobus Groenewald in 1865 for his new bride – whom promptly ran off with another man.  Heart broken, Oom Jacobus sold the house to his brother and bought a farm in Napier, never to marry again.  We hope our couples have better luck!

The Farmhouse has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a loft with beds for 15 guests.  There is a self catering kitchen, lounge, indoor braai, wifi, smart tv and a wood fired hot tub.  The house can sleep 23 guests in total.

Stable Rooms

There are 8 rooms adjacent to the Nightjar venue, that were the old stables and out-buildings.  All 8 rooms have ensuite bathrooms and they share a communal coffee station.  The stable rooms are walking distance to the Farmhouse where guests can use what is offered in the Farmhouse.
